The WSJ's coverage of McDonald's lawsuit against various beef suppliers includes the following partial sentence: "Eligible franchisees could receive a portion of recovered funds or a credit toward future purchases."
* What is an "Eligible" franchisee? * Aren't they all?
* Are there McDonald's Operators in the USA who don't sell beef products?
* Who ultimately paid for the finished product delivered to the restaurants?

'Eligible' means those O/Os who go along with all the corporate programs. Those who don't will be left out even though it's our money..
