Great news for Krispy Kreme shareholders and MCD shareholders.
Great news for employees who will eat the donuts.
Bad news for owners that have to carry the losses like the losses from the old bakery cases we had to buy.

The theft of these eaten by employees on shift will be tremendous

I heard that the test markets priced these VERY LOW. How do you make a profit? We need to see numbers and vote on this instead of it being unilaterally adopted and forced om us.

Fifty bucks says this ends up on the app as a promo freebie!

Better keep them locked up or they will disappear

Look for a competitor to join up with Dunkin Donuts for a similar program

I wonder how the 350 (approx) Krispy Kreme stores feel about 14,000 McDs selling their product?

So we had fairly good bakery products after investing hundreds of millions in equipment and advertising; Deloitte suggested raising the prices, no longer a good-value sales decline. Quality went down, as movement went down, cabinets were not maintained well, and they were pulled.

So now we are going to sell a product that only tastes somewhat edible when it's fresh (which was originally their unique selling proposition, "Fresh Hot Donuts"). McDonald's & KK make money on day one, franchisees have to probably buy a new small equipment package use our advertising dollars to promote another companies products, will sell some on intial novelty of the new product, within six months sales will drop, well have waste after we just recovered our costs, and McD's will be pull the product 12 to 18 months later let me know if I am missing something?

Decisions being made by people with NO RESTAURANT OPERATIONS EXPERIENCE. Good Grief!
