Dear McDonald's Stockholder
Last year, McDonald's CEO made a statement of support of Ukraine in its war with Russia. Chris Kempczinski, CEO, sent the following message to employees and franchisees-
"The conflict in Ukraine and the humanitarian crisis in Europe has caused unspeakable suffering to innocent people. As a System, we join the world in condemning aggression and violence and praying for peace."
My question to the stockholders is, WHERE IS THE SAME STATEMENT OF COMPASSION AND SUPPORT FOR ISRAEL TODAY???

Gee Chicago Senior Leadership sure knows how to pick em.
Since McDonald’s executives and many members of the McDonald’s BOD lean left, we can expect them to follow the lead of the Democrat party on this particular war. And, since their party has no presidential bench, democrats will be guided by “the squad” (Google it).

It is interesting that American companies were so proactive when Russia invaded Ukraine but are now silent.

I get it - kinda - Let’s just sell burgers and fries and stay away from this stuff. Why piss anyone off? I don’t get it. We sell burgers!!
We can only hope that MCD has learned its lesson to not offer up comments on social and political issues, especially when no one is asking you questions that don't relate to burgers and fries.
