Time to catch up with the Bud Light disaster.
Advertising, marketing, and creative people are kind of flaky, aren't they?
Once in a while, you find a gem like Larry Light, but in general, these people live in a world of fantasy. The business leaders who pay the bills need to keep a close eye on them. Apparently, client AB InBev did not keep a close eye on Captiv8.
Fortunately, companies like McDonald's have an army of franchise owners to keep an eye on the agencies.
Eventually, the agency gets exposed to the real world, and things fall apart, much like what's happening at Captiv8.

Several articles mention McDonald's as a Captiv8 client?

Accountability long overdue for ad agencies. Always selling everything but the product.
Question: Why aren't shareholders rising up and suing these corporations? One would think that would be happening all over the place.
Hey, those laid off should not worry cause according to Biden the Economy is Booming and they're are high paying Jobs a plenty! I'm sure all these Woke exEmployees can knock on any door and find a Lucrative Job selling Electric Cars, Aluminum Siding or Snake Oil for that matter. They should have no problem getting a job in green energy or coding...after all, according to Biden he's created millions of these high paying jobs. Not to worry: Bidenomics is here, besides YOU Voted for the Con!
These ad agencies have become so woke it's pathetic. Any products using television commercials and displaying woke-based commercials are off my list. They don't get my money. When ad agencies purposefully produce their commercials because of cancel culture and diversity idiocy, they are cutting their own throats and pocketbooks. Don't buy national brand beers, either...they also practice the same idiocy that Bud does. Drink local beers from local breweries. They are fresher, cleaner, better tasting, brewed by your neighbors, not owned by foreign corporations, and you are spending your money locally (better for you and your wallet).
Shareholder lawsuits ... Relative to the size of the markets, such actions are pretty rare. Don't you think that if an investor is dissatisfied with the management of a company, they just liquidate and move on?
And in the case of BUD, to sue shareholders would have to get neck deep in the discussions about transgenders, wokeness, DEI, and all related issues. Who wants their name on that lawsuit? Individual shareholders don't, nor do institutions.

But the ad agency execs got MANY industry awards! You do know that this is all the ad agency execs care about is themselves and their next job, right? Clients are steps to be climbed.
So what your Big Mac sales crashed? My next job is selling China sweat shop Nikes to my fellow woke millennials for more cash!!! Yay for me! Don't worry, my fellow wokesters in the media won't roll tape of the kids making them as long as Colin Kapernick keeps taking a knee like he is on Game of Thrones.
