Too late, the fair share of operators whom grew up in the legacy values system that built McDonald's into a worlwide juggernaut... are gone.
This system today is surviving on the brand trust they built. Corporation instills program standards today, they themself can never achieve. Its why they dont own 95% the restaurants.
Smart business people are savy enough to see the writing on the wall, selling their stores. Good part, there is always selfish operators willing to buy them up. No worries, the rising fed rates may deal with them too.

Before the internet, Americans expressed some of their views with vehicle bumper stickers. One of my favorites dates back to the Jimmy Carter administration:

When investors in a franchise system hear that franchisees are unhappy their reaction is often, "it's time to get new franchisees".
It appears that the accidental CEO and his lackeys agree.

Sounds like current leadership follows the "Ed Rensi" relationship model.
"The future of McDonald’s will include people outside of this room”
What an ego trip for a pajama boy to take.
