Now opening an additional 500 locations, solely to seek the new rent revenues... got to up the cashflow for those stock options.
Ray Kroc played the long game for his brand legacy. Chris K. plays the short stock options game. Even if the brand doesn't survive the long term. He still isnt personally invested for that level.
All the while management is eyeing our equity, carefully watching the Chick model of “ownership” as nothing more than a paid employee.
One way to do this is to run the rent up to the point that there is nothing there to buy or sell, OO is just running a money printing device for shareholders.
I wish someone could tell me under what circumstances 14 or 15% rent works on this end AND how in the world we ever got here?
