It is really good news, especially because it was the very liberal, anti- employer 9nth Circuit Court that made the ruling. If the anti-McDonalds, anti-franchising agitators can't get a win there, their argument is toast in courts. It won't stop them from trying to file bills in legislatures everywhere, but it will help out a stop to lawsuits against franchisees because ambulance chasers won't think that they can pick MCD pockets for the bog money.
