That is interesting. I also think part of the argument for Beefless "Meat" is regarding environmental sustainability. If I had to guess, I think people will choice health over the environment. But this plant based protein will be coming to a McDonald’s near you... We already try to be all things to all people. This seems to be right in our Modern and Progressive wheelhouse.
Why not compare it to an actual beef Whopper? Impossible burger still doesn't compare well on Sodium (Whopper has 980, tho, which is closer), and of course beef has more protein (Whopper 28 g). But on Calories, Cholesterol, Fat and Sat. Fat, the Impossible burger compares very well. And this doesn't show fiber, which I bet the vegan burger has far more of.

We need to advertise that, but the wimps at MCD Corp never will!
