Paper straws are better for the environment, but they will cost you.

Hey - somebody check my math - the headline in this article says paper straws will cost ten times plastic but the supplier guy says paper is 2.5 cents each and plastic is one-half cent each. Isn't that five times as much? Not ten times?
Hmmm...looks like you're right to me! You should bug the reporter and see if they'll update the story.
