You do not need a celebrity chef to come up with a great tasting burger, the In-N-Outs, Whataburgers etc. of the world did not have a celebrity chef come up or “improve” their burger. All that celebrity chefs do is layer to many ingredients on food, instead of keeping it simple. Brings to mind Chef Dan and all the squeeze bottles and sauces we now have on our prep tables and the lackluster sales of signature crafted burgers. Most of all our core menu items and biggest selling items came from restaurateurs that know what customers want, tweak it in the restaurant to get it right, not ushering a focus group into an office setting and asking their opinion.
