Doesnt anyone realize that Mcchicken "sauce" is simply mayonaise, and Filet o Fish "sauce" is simply Tartar sauce? Whats next, plain old Ketchup as "Hamburger sauce"???
So much for the mystery of our "secret sauce(s)" which brought traffic into the restaurants for years for their "Big Mac Attack". Have the Canadians lost their minds? McD makes money on the retail and the O/O's lose traffic. Brilliant!
Canadians have not lost their minds, they've lost their compass. In BC O/O's told to invest $80K for CYT roll out, then three weeks into invested dollars and conversion the CYT was pulled off menus.
Talk is now they are going to introduce table service? Table for two please. McDonald's? Or and Delivery to Home service too?
When McD owned Boston Market, it was then that they contracted with and licensed Kraft/Heinz to distribute Boston Markets frozen grocery dinners(which still exist today). How long will it be before unreasonable profit and stock market pressures lead Easterbrook to license grocery store frozen MCD Extra Value Meals ??

If they are going to do this all profits should go to Ronald McDonald Houses-just like the Paul Newman sauce brands.

The slippery slope started with McCafe coffee K-Cups in the supermarket. Only a few operators objected. Could french fries be next??
"Only a few operators objected", that seems to be the reaction to every bone headed move the Chicago blokes come up with.
