I have mixed feelings about Sardar Biglari obviously he is sharp guy to accomplish what he has over the last 15 years if you read about him. It has always seemed though he is kinda of trying to be a Warren Buffet his loyalty is to his fund and investors period, I would hate to be a franchisee in any of his restaurant companies, Western Sizzlin or Steak & Shake moves he has made over the years are tuff for franchisees. The scarier part of all these CEO's, Deborah Wahl's etc. is thinking now days you can have one price point across the entire United States with all the different costs of doing business in diverse and different markets, as a franchisee this worries me.

It seems that Biglari seeks conflict wherever he goes. That's not a business model that fits well with franchising.

Doesn't really matter, so few franchisees fight back.
Laws don't enforce themselves, franchise companies count on
franchisee complacency and fear.
