They fail to mention that they are virtually all single store operators that work their businesses everyday on a much smaller number of stores. Large multiples and 35K units, McDonlds lost this dynamic a long time ago.
1) Their business practices and ethics are faith-based.
2) They are a private company allowing them to make rational decisions and keep a large amount of revenue in the business instead of trying to spoil shareholders.
3) Operationally speaking, the one store per franchisee concept cannot be beaten.

1) Their business practices and ethics are faith-based.
2) They are a private company allowing them to make rational decisions and
keep a large amount of revenue in the business instead of trying to spoil
