As a 30 plus year vet of the McD system I think this MCOPCO wage thing is turning out to be the nastiest thing the corp has ever done to the O/Os. If this is the way this new OB team is going to function its over for the O/Os and over for McD.
It appears the corporation is again throwing the O/O's under the bus. What they can't mandate, they resort to blackmail by making the Operator community the blatant bad guys. This marriage is falling apart and there is no Jerry or Fred to come to the rescue.
Every $.25 increase in average wages increases payroll costs by 1%! The payroll "compression" factor will be huge. And you thought Obamacare was tough. The three leg stool is now McDonald's, McDonald's and McDonald's. Glad I retired last year. I feel your pain, fellow operators.
I have been told that the NLC WAS TOLD a month in advance about this.($1 wage hike) They were then sworn to secrecy in writing,by McD! Who the hell does the NLC represent?? Certainly not the operators anymore as this illustrates! The system I loved is DYING. We should remove every traitorous NLC rep and leadership.

In my humble opinion it's better to start with OPNAD. It could take years to change the NLC.
