I am guessing by the incredible disbelief by customers in the commercial that it is probably a promotion where we (the Operators) will be giving them a free meal. From free coffee to price pointed products we can't make money on, the next brilliant idea has to be that we "remind customers how good our food is by giving it away." Can't way until McDonald's isn't lovin' Don and team anymore!

The facts are out, 14 days of "Lovin" give aways to our customers. In a climate of declining sales and transactions our leadership can only come up with an idea that once again works against our profitability with another failed idea. We will only be "Lovin it" when the board finally does their jobs and makes a change in leadership. Gimmicks don't work, only a plan that reduces the over extended menu offerings and balances profits with what our customers are asking for at the store level not what the leadership would like for our customers to desire.

This is ABSURD. FORCED ON US WITHOUT A VOTE,with only 7 days notice !!!
plus a NO dollar amount Free limit and only a $1.50 per order reimbursement !!!

The facts are in. If we can be forced to do this (and we are) McDonalds really is a JOINT EMPLOYER !!!!!

McDonald’s does not understand social media; if you were going to do something like this you’d pick specific restaurants across the USA and let it go viral, folks will talk about it socially that “I paid with Lovin today” and you would get free media attention and it would grow if perceived well that you could catch some Lovin at McDonald’s. If it works then you build on that; you don’t advertise a national campaign where you cannot ensure it can be executed well in 15,000 McDonald’s. Wow… and these folks make big money I did not even graduate high school and presume to know little about marketing but seems I know more than them. As others have said though I must have missed the vote on this?
