I agree Rensi was risk taker (sign of leader) and stood by the risks he took. Although it never seemed he truly believed in the operator / franchisee model as he made many decisions without franchisee support. BTW – His three restaurants I believe have closed I guess he found out it his harder than he thought to operate restaurants.
While I'm sure Rensi and Dentice have found that owning and operating restaurants is more difficult than bossing around franchisees it appears they are still in business. The webpage is still live and two of the locations answered the phone today.

Thanks....I stand corrected it was two of their five sites closed those being Deerfield & Geneva Il locations.
